3/14/24 vs Maryland:
Rutgers season finale ended in a 65-51 loss in the first round of the Big 10 Tournament Wednesday Night. Cliff had 2 points, 5 rebounds, and added a steal and 2 blocks on the defensive side of the ball.
3/10/24 vs Ohio State:
Omoruyi led the way with 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 1 block on Rutgers Senior Day as they lost 73-51 to Ohio State.
3/7/24 vs Wisconsin:
The Scarlet knights dropped their second game in a row as they were downed by Wisconsin 78-66 Thursday night. Omoruyi finished the game with 7 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks.
3/3/24 vs Nebraska:
Omoruyi finished with 6 points and 2 rebounds in 22 minutes on the floor as Rutgers fell to Nebraska 67-56 Sunday night.
2/29/24 vs Michigan:
Omoruyi had his way Thursday night vs Michigan. He dropped 19 points, shooting 82% from the field and scooped up 15 rebounds for a double double. On the defensive side of the ball he added a steal and had 2 more blocks, as Rutgers cruised to a massive 30 point victory.
2/25/24 vs Maryland:
Rutgers dropped their second game in a row as they fell to Big 10 foe Maryland 63-46. Omoruyi finished with 5 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals in 17 minutes.
2/22/24 vs Purdue:
Omoruyi and Rutgers fell to #3 ranked Purdue 96-68 Thursday night. Cliff finished with 4 points, 3 rebounds, and added a steal in 24 minutes on the floor.
2/18/24 vs Minnesota:
Omoruyi shined as Rutgers had their four game winning streak snapped Sunday Evening vs Minnesota. In 31 minutes, Cliff posted 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 steals, while shooting 60% from the field.
2/15/24 vs Northwestern:
Rutgers grabbed their fourth win in a row, as they squeaked by Northwestern 63-60 Thursday night. In a season high 34 minutes, Cliff dropped 9 points, 9 rebounds, and added 5 more blocks and 2 steals on the defensive side of the ball.
2/10/24 vs Wisconsin:
Omoruyi led the charge as Rutgers knocked off #11 ranked Wisconsin Saturday afternoon. Cliff had a historic night posting 13 points, 13 rebounds, and a game high 8 blocks for the second time this season.
2/6/24 vs Maryland:
Rutgers picked up their second win in a row, taking down Big 10 foe Maryland, in a 56-53 nail-biter. Cliff posted 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks in 22 minutes.
2/4/24 vs Michigan:
Omoruyi had a big night in Rutgers thrilling comeback victory vs Michigan. Cliff put up 15 points on 67% shooting, grabbed 11 boards, and added an assist and a block. It was his seventh double-double of the season, and his 27th all time, putting him atop the list of Rutgers double-doubles in the last 30 seasons.
1/31/24 vs Penn State:
Rutgers dropped their third game in a row, as Penn State cruised to a 61-46 win. Omoruyi saw 29 minutes on the floor, putting up 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks on the night.
1/28/24 vs Purdue:
Omoruyi and Rutgers fell just short against #2 ranked Purdue, Sunday afternoon. In a 68-60 finish, Cliff dropped 13 points on 50% shooting from the field and grabbed 6 rebounds.
1/21/24 vs Illinois:
The Scarlet Knights fell 86-63 to nationally ranked Illinois Sunday afternoon. Cliff dropped 22 points and grabbed 9 boards in the loss.
1/16/24 vs Nebraska:
Omoruyi and the Scarlet Knights battled Nebraska all the way to OT, coming out on top 87-82. Cliff had a monster night on the floor putting up 14 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks. This marks Omoruyi’s sixth double-double this season.
1/14/24 vs Michigan State:
Omoruyi logged 20 minutes on the floor registering 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a blowout loss to Big-10 foe Michigan State.
1/9/24 vs Indiana:
Omoruyi and the Knights bounced back with a commanding 66-57 win Tuesday Night. Cliff saw 32 minutes on the floor posting 5 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks.
1/3/24 vs Ohio State:
Rutgers couldn’t make it two in a row as they fell 76-72 in a tense in-conference Big-10 Matchup to Ohio State. Cliff finished with 7 points and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes on the floor while shooting 3/4 (75%) from the free throw line on the night.
12/30/23 vs Stonehill College:
Omoruyi had a monster night posting 17 points and 17 rebounds in a tight 59-58 victory over Stonehill College. Cliff added 3 more blocks on the night to go along with his fifth double-double of the season.
12/23/23 vs Mississippi St:
It was a quiet afternoon for Omoruyi and Rutgers. Cliff finished the game with 3 points and 1 block in a 70-60 loss.
12/16/23 vs LIU:
Omoruyi led the way for the Scarlet Knights registering a career high 25 points in a 83-61 blowout win vs LIU Saturday Afternoon. On the glass he added 11 rebounds which marked his fourth double-double of the season, while also registering another 3 blocks on the defensive side of the ball.
12/10/23 vs Seton Hall University:
Rutgers bounced back with a tight 70-63 win over in-state rival Seton Hall University. Cliff recorded his third double double of the season and added 7 blocks on the defensive end of the floor, while also reaching the 1000 point milestone as the 46th player in Rutgers Basketball history.
12/6/23 vs Wake Forest University:
Rutgers lost their second straight as they fell 76-57 in a blowout loss to Wake Forest. Cliff posted 4 points and 4 rebounds in 27 minutes on the floor.
12/3/23 vs Illinois:
Omoruyi and the Scarlet Knights fell 76-58 to #24 Illinois Saturday Night at the Jersey Mike’s Center. Cliff recorded 7 points and 9 rebounds, while adding 8 blocks on the defensive side of the ball.
11/27/23 vs Saint Peter’s University:
Rutgers cruised to a 71-40 win Monday Night vs Saint Peter’s University. Cliff finished with a season-high 17 points on 50% shooting from the field, and grabbed 8 rebounds. Defensively, he posted 4 blocks on the night as well to help Rutgers claim their fifth straight victory.
11/19/23 vs Howard:
It was a night to remember for Big Cliff and Rutgers. Omoruyi led the charge with his second double-double of the season finishing with 15 points and 14 rebounds on the night. He also added 4 blocks and 2 steals to cap off an impressive 85-63 win over the Howard Bison.
11/15/23 vs Georgetown University:
Omoruyi and Rutgers knocked off Georgetown 71-60 Wednesday night at Jersey Mike’s Arena in Piscataway, NJ. Cliff contributed with 8 points on 4-7 (57%) shooting from the floor, 6 rebounds and added 4 blocks to help the Scarlet Knights improve to 3-1 on the season.
11/13/23 vs Bryant University:
Rutgers earned their second straight win defeating Bryant University 66-57 in a tight game Sunday night. In 27 minutes of game time, Cliff posted 13 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for his first official double-double of the season.
11/10/23 vs Boston University:
Rutgers secured their first victory of the 23-24 season Friday night in a blowout 20 point win defeating Boston University 69-45. Cliff picked up 5 points and 5 rebounds on the night while shooting a stellar 75% from the free throw line.
11/6/23 vs Princeton:
Omoruyi and the Scarlet Knights kicked off the 23-24 regular season with a hard fought 68-61 defeat to Princeton University. In 27 minutes of game time, Cliff shot 50% from the field, while leading the team with 12 points on the night. In addition, Omoruyi scooped up 7 rebounds, had a steal and assist a piece while also racking up 4 blocks.
10/21/23 vs St. John’s:
Rutgers opened the 23-24 campaign with a 89-78 preseason loss to St.John’s. Omoruyi dropped 16 points & collected 9 rebounds while shooting an even 50% from the field on the night.
11/7 vs Columbia:
Omoruyi and Rutgers began their season with a 75-35 blowout victory over Columbia. In just 23 minutes of action, Cliff recorded 10 points & 9 rebounds while showing off on the defensive end with 2 huge blocks.
11/10 vs Sacred Heart:
In a convincing 88-50 victory, Omoruyi made his presence felt throughout the game. The big man recorded 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Cliff led the way on defense with 3 blocks and 2 steals.
11/12 vs UMass Lowell:
Big Cliff recorded his first double-double of the season, finishing with 22 points and 15 rebounds in the 73-65 win. His best offensive performance of the year so far did not slow him down on defense as he recorded 3 more blocks.
11/18 vs Temple:
In a close 72-66 loss, Cliff put on another show on offense. This big man led the team with 21 points & 11 rebounds on 9/17 shooting, his second double-double of the year.
11/22 vs Rider:
Omoruyi used his third straight double-double and another huge defensive performance to lead Rutgers to a convincing 76-46 win. The big man finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, and a season-high 4 blocks.
11/26 vs Central Connecticut St.:
Omoruyi was one of four Rutgers starters to score in double figures, recording 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals in the 83-49 victory.
11/30 at Miami:
In a hard fought 68-61 loss, Omoruyi led the way with 16 points & 9 rebounds while shooting an efficient 7/10 from the field.
12/3 vs #10 Indiana:
In a huge 63-48 upset over #10 Indiana, early foul trouble limited Omoruyi to just 19 minutes of action. The big man was still able to contribute 6 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 steals.
12/8 @ #25 Ohio State:
In a heartbreaking 67-66 loss at the buzzer, Omoruyi kept his team in the game and led the way with 16 points & 8 rebounds on 7/10 shooting. His 2 blocks were both key plays down the stretch and kept Rutgers within reach.
12/11 vs Seton Hall:
In a classic defensive battle, Rutgers was defeated 45-43. Omoruyi recorded 5 points & 9 rebounds. Only one player from either team scored 10+ points.
12/17 vs Wake Forest:
Omoruyi and his team bounced back from a tough week with a huge 81-57 victory. Cliff led the way with 14 points & 9 rebounds on an efficient 6/9 shooting while anchoring the defense yet again.
12/23 vs Bucknell:
In an 85-50 blowout, Omoruyi put together his best all-around performance of the season. The big man dominated the paint on both ends, finishing with 17 points, 14 rebounds, and a season-high 6 blocks.
12/30 vs Coppin St.:
Omoruyi and his team finished their 2022 with another strong performance, winning 90-57. Cliff led the team with 20 points & 13 rebounds in just 24 minutes of action.
1/2 @ #1 Purdue:
Omoruyi led his team to a stunning 65-64 upset on the road against the top ranked team in the nation. Big Cliff finished with 12 points & 6 rebounds while anchoring the defense for the majority of the game.
1/5 vs Maryland:
In a convincing 64-50 victory, defense was the story for Big Cliff. On top of his 13 rebounds, Cliff recorded 3 monster blocks, 2 assists, and a steal.
1/8 vs Iowa:
In a rare loss at home, Omoruyi once again led the way on the defensive side of the ball. The big man recorded 9 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks.
1/11 @ Northwestern:
In a close 65-62 victory on the road, Omoruyi made his presence felt on the glass, grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds. 2 huge blocks created momentum for Rutgers & his 3 assists were second most on the team.
1/15 vs Ohio State:
Omoruyi had a huge performance in a thrilling 68-64 victory in OT. He recorded another double-double, finishing with 14 points & 11 rebounds while shooting 6/8 from the free throw line. Cliff recorded a season-high 6 blocks in the win. The victory led to Rutgers being ranked #23 in the AP Poll, their first time in the rankings in almost two years.
1/19 @ Michigan state:
In a tough loss on the road, Omoruyi recorded his second consecutive double-double, finishing with 12 points & 12 rebounds.
1/24 vs Penn State:
In a dominating 65-45 victory, Cliff recorded another double-double, finishing with 16 points & 10 rebounds while shooting 6/7 from the field. In 31 minutes of play the big man also recorded 3 huge blocks.
1/29 @ Iowa:
Cliff blocked 3 more shots in a difficult road loss. Additionally, he recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 6/9.
2/1 vs Minnesota:
With “Big Cliff” anchoring the defense, Rutgers dominated Minnesota 90-55. This marked their largest Big Ten win in program history. In just 19 minutes of play, Cliff recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds on 6/8 shooting. He also recorded a block and an a steal.
2/4 vs Michigan State:
In a 61-55 victory at Madison Square Garden, Cliff recorded an impressive double-double, finishing with 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
2/7 @ #18 Indiana:
In a hard-fought road loss, Cliff led his team with 15 points while shooting 50% from the field.
2/11 @ Illinois:
Despite foul trouble throughout the game, Cliff recorded his seventh double-double of the season, finishing with 14 points & 10 rebounds. He also registered 2 blocks and now has the 10th most blocks in Scarlet Knights history.

- Big Ten Tournament 2nd Round vs Michigan
- In a huge victory for Rutgers Cliff anchored a historic 2nd half for the Rutgers defense. 3 blocks and 8 rebounds from Big Cliff helped lead Rutgers to a strong 62-50 victory as the team held Michigan to just 22 2nd half points.
- Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal vs Purdue In a close loss to the #1 seed, Omoruyi battled with fellow Kareem Abdul-Jabbar award finalist Zach Edey, scoring 10 points, grabbing 8 rebounds and blocking 3 shots.
